Youth

At SouthCentral, we believe that our young men and women are the church of today, and as such are taught the word of God in classes on Wednesdays and Sundays, but are also given the responsibility of ministry. In nearly every ministry and program their influence is felt. They work along-side their adult counterparts in various other functions of service in the congregation, and are given the opportunity to lead in ministry.

SouthCentral's Youth C.O.R.E. (Centered On Rejoicing Eternally) is on a mission to challenge and nurture new and existing youth on their life-long journey with Christ and His church; to encourage our youth to express their faith through words and actions by means of spirit- guided curricula, interactive-hands on training and discipline through biblical-based teachings.

Our objective with the youth is for them to become spiritually mature and develop a relationship with Jesus at the earliest possible age. Our aim is for them to grow more like Christ and be able to make good decisions in life. In addition to attending Bible Bowls, youth rallies, fellowships, lock-ins and taking road trips we strive to develop our youth into effective leaders of the church and the community they are urged to serve.
